We went as a group of 4 campers, all of us in our early 50s. We all agreed, this was the worse campground owner and worse privately owned campground we have ever stayed at. They advertise a 50 acre lake, went its really a swamp only about 1 foot deep and full of mesquites. The owner was a witch, constantly hollaring and harrassing everyone. She demeaned us and had confrontations with each of us, from hollaring at us for tossing a frisbee (might hurt the grass), playing bean bag toss (might hit a child if they were to walk in between when someone was throwing), sitting on the side of the pool (might damage the side), touching the guide ropes in the pool (the ropes are old and damaged by the chlorine and she can not affort to buy new rope), to playing bocce ball (she considers them dangerous). The facilities were all falling down and the bathrooms were filthy. They do not let the seasonals wash there campers but once in the spring and once it the fall, and with this being a very wooded campground the place looked terrible. I think the only thing they did maintain was the grass cutting. Our advise is to stay away, you would be better off camping on the side of the road.
